INTERIOR DESIGN
Every detail at La Bánksia Hotel has been thoughtfully considered to create a careful balance between luxury, homely warmth, and the historical features which reflect the soul of this 100-year-old house. Soft lighting sets the tone for relaxation and tranquillity, and our bespoke furniture, hand crafted by local artisans, repurposes the original timber flooring recovered during the 5-year renovation process. Our large bathrooms blend modern finishes with traditional tiling. With exceptional mountain views, a lush oasis-like garden, and the space and convenience of a fully equipped house, La Bánksia Hotel will set the tone for an unforgettable Andean adventure.

GARDENS AND OUTDOOR SPACES
La Bánksia Hotel garden is home to one of the very few green spaces in the historical centre. Lush and full of flowers, the garden attracts several species of local hummingbirds, frogs, many butterflies, and other pollinators. The outdoor areas also include a rooftop terrace with views to the volcanic Iliniza mountains, several terraces, outdoor dining options and both BBQ and campfire areas. The garden really is a calm, botanic oasis in which to rejuvenate after your travels.
